Cortina d'Ampezzo is popular for its ski ranges, having many beginner runs and nursery slopes, but also advanced ones. In 1956 the resort hosted the Winter Olympics and since then various word cup events.

The scenery is remarkable, maybe even the most dramatic of any winter resort and the off-slope facilities are very good, with lots of up market shops.

The resort is more suited for beginners and intermediate level skiers, but everyone is welcomed here.
