A popular tourist destination in Switzerland, with the beautiful Lake Maggiore, a great promenade, boutiques, restaurants and everything you need. The Old Town has a beautiful church, art galleries and small shops selling souvenirs and antiques. Ascona doesn't have a train station, but a bus from Locarno, 4 kilometers away, is available.
