General

Whitehaven is the largest island in the Whitsundays, with a beach that stretches for seven kilometers. It is the most photographed island in Australia, and as soon as you arrive you will realize why.

Whitsunday Island is an unspoilt island, with no hotels available, just a camping place near Whitehaven beach. This is one of the things that make it unique and interesting. It can be reached only by boat, leaving from Shute Harbour or Airlie Beach. Here you can enjoy plenty of swimming in the clear waters or relax on the white sand. Sun glasses are a must!
