Bordered on three sides by granite peaks, this is one of the most beautiful lakes in Yosemite National Park. Surrounded by beautiful forests and offering scenic views, the lake is one of the most popular destinations for Yosemite summer visitors.
The best time to visit is from June to October. At the east end of Tenaya Lake, there is a patch of sand where sun lovers can unwind on a sunny summer day.
