It was founded in 1896 by William George Bean, who's goal was to make adults feel like children again. The park is visited by five million people of all ages, each year. The most famous ride, is The Big One and is also the tallest roller coaster in Europe. The latest addition to the park is Infusion, a suspended coaster, taking you through five amazing loops plus a double line twist.

The 53 restaurants and pubs will keep you busy while taking a break from the thrilling sensations. There is also a hotel inside the park. There is no entrance fee to the park itself, but once you're inside you'll buy a wristband giving you access to all rides. The price varies according to day and season, from £20.00 to £30.00 for an adult.
