The beach is located on the eastern part of Florianopolis, the capital city of Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is famous for its waves, but if you're not an experienced surfer you shouldn't adventure during high waves, as they can be very dangerous. The beach is very organized and it's famous for that. It has a big parking, lifeguards, police station, public showers, shops, bars, restaurants and hotels. And if you're not into surfing, you can have fun on the sand dunes by trying to sand board.
