Even if most of the days, it is unlikely to see any real stars walking down Hollywood Boulevard, if you look down, you will see another kind of stars: the bronze star plaques, embedded in pink terrazzo squares on the world's most famous sidewalk.
Hollywood Walk of Fame is a sidewalk along Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, and it represents a tribute to more than 2,000 artists who made a contribution to film, radio, television, music and recording industries. The stars have names of fictional characters too, not only human celebrities. Right bellow the name of each celebrity is a small emblem which illustrates the category from which the celebrity is part of: a motion picture camera for movie stars and directors, a television set for the ones in the television industry, a phonograph record for singers/ songwriters/ recording artists, a radio microphone and the twin theatrical masks of comedy and tragedy for live stage performers. The only person who has been honored with all five stars is Gene Autry.
