It is actually a side branch of the Grand Canyon, where turquoise water pools and cascades form an extraordinary setting. If you're one of those people who enjoys scenic beauty, cliffs and waterfalls, you should include Havasu Canyon in one of your journeys.

It is located on the Havasupai Indian Reservation, in Supai Village. To get there you need to handle an eight miles hike or a horse back ride. But there is also a helicopter ride available to and from the village, four days a week. The only accommodation available in Supai is a rustic lodge and a mile long campground (pretty crowded in summer, so reservations are recommended).
