The beach has a nice atmosphere and it's also easy to reach from downtown Busan, which is why the beach is always crowded. With a maximum occupancy of 120,000 people, this beach is always flocked by people on the sunny summer days. Beach festivals and different events are held all year round, starting with the 1st of January when people gather to see the first sunrise of the year.
Even though you'd rather go to a nice, quiet beach, Haeundae is worth seeing, just for feeling its vibrant atmosphere.
