Fuji-Q Highland Park

( 1 user review )

The theme park was opened in 1961 and is situated at the base of Mount Fuji. It has 33 rides, a children area with Thomas the Tank Engine theme, 9 restaurants and 20 bowling alleys.

Fujiyama is one of the park's roller coasters and when it was inaugurated in 1996 it has the world's tallest, with a height of 79 meters (259 feet). Still, it is among the fastest, reaching a speed of 130 km/h.

Eejanaika is the most recent addition, opened in 2006, the world's second "4D" coaster. It is approximately 76 meters (250 feet) tall and one kilometer (3,780 feet) long.

Other coasters offering thrilling rides are the Panic Rock, Waikiki Wave, Great Zaboon and many others.
