Damnoni is located on the southern coast of Rethymno, and it is considered among the best beaches on the island. You can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, or you can lay on the white, soft sand.
There are many deserted bays to explore around the area, maybe you'll even find your own little corner of paradise.
The beach is 38 kilometers from the village of Rethymno and access is possible by public bus up to Plakias, but the best way is to use rented or private car and motorbikes.
