What makes this ski jump so out of the ordinary is that it's a mix between sports facilities and public spaces. Beside the actual ski jump, it includes a cafe and a viewing terrace. There are two elevators which take the tourists up to the 40 meters high cafe, from where they can admire the alpine landscape and watch the athletes below fly above the Innsbruck skyline.

Having a length of about 90 meters and a height of almost 50 meters, it's actually a combination of a tower and a bridge. It was designed by the London firm Zaha Hadid Architects and has become an important point of reference for the surrounding mountain landscape.
